Food & Drink at The Greyhound
Natalie and her team of chefs pride themselves on the taste and quality of the food from our kitchens. We use fresh, local ingredients whenever possible, offering an extensive variety of meals and snacks. See our seasonal menu.
It's good, honest, home-cooked, traditional fare of the kind most of us love to eat but that's now so often missing from the menus of many fancy restaurants.
For your special occasions or get togethers you can book exclusive use of our separate Dining Room where we can accommodate up to 30 people for a sit-down meal.
Dogs are allowed in our top bar so you are able to enjoy a meal and a drink or two with your pet. You can also sit outside in our beautiful garden anytime of the year, we have plenty of outdoor seating with patio heaters.
Ask about our wonderful afternoon teas!

Our Bars
Whatever your tipple, we're confident you'll toast our selection, whether you want a drink to enjoy with your food or to quench your thirst with a glass or more. Our bars offer a range of real ales, traditional cask and bottled beers and ciders, spirits, wines and soft drinks. We're well known for the quality of our range of competitively-priced wines from the New World as well as France, Italy and Spain. Ask for our 'Wine of the Season' recommendation.
Our main bar serves the four lounges, all of which have comfortable seating and tables. A great favourite, especially in winter, is the small, cosy area around the log fire - the perfect place to relax after a meal, a day in the country or at work.
There's also our old-fashioned Stable Bar, particularly popular with the locals and other regulars to enjoy a drink in the evenings and at weekends. Watch, or even join in with, the regular games of darts, crib or dominoes. The Stable Bar's tiled floor means walkers' muddy boots (or muddy dogs) are not a problem!
